Our Mission

Every life matters. When we discovered drowning remains one of the world's leading causes of accidental death, we knew we had to help change that story.

We are dedicated to:

01

Safety

Building water comfort and self-rescue mastery.

02

Wellness

Promoting a healthy lifestyle centered on swimming.

03

Character

Instilling values of perseverance and respect.

04

Joy

Creating fun, memorable experiences for everyone.

Our mission is to enrich lives and cultivate positive mindsets through the water and swimming. We invite you to journey deeper with us.

Alex Fong's Story

Meet Our Co-Founder & Chief Coach: Alex Fong

"I believe in leading by example - and it all begins by stepping into the water."

Alex Fong began swimming at the age of two. He credits his parents and coaches for shaping his discipline, sacrifice, perseverance, and compassion. A former Hong Kong Olympian and two-time Olympic torchbearer, Alex remains one of Hong Kong’s most accomplished swimmers and continues to lead HKSA with a values-driven approach to proper technique, progressive training, and mental resilience.

The Legacy of Excellence

Alex is a former Hong Kong Olympian (Sydney 2000) and a two-time Olympic torchbearer (2004 and 2008). He remains one of Hong Kong's most accomplished swimmers, and his backstroke and medley records stood for more than two decades.

Beyond The Pool

Alex was named one of Hong Kong's Ten Outstanding Young Persons in 2014. Over the last two decades he has also served the community as an artist, ambassador, and charity advocate focused on health, youth development, and social contribution.

The HKSA Vision

At HKSA, Alex turns elite experience into a teaching philosophy centred on proper technique, progressive training, and mental resilience. Under his leadership, HKSA helps swimmers build confidence and character in and out of the water.
